About Sisters Movie House

 

Sisters Movie House is a four screen independent theater located at the east end of Sisters, Oregon within the Five Pine Campus. Sisters is well known as a vibrant arts community that is committed to providing quality educational and creative opportunities to the community members of the greater Sisters area.

 

Sisters Movie House is a hometown theater that provides family entertainment, and film appreciation to both residents of Sisters and the area visitors. The Movie House boast four screens with seating for approximately 314, and features a café that serves light meals, beer and wine as well as traditional theater concessions.

Sisters Movie House showcases a diverse selection of film including feature first run film, independent, documentary, foreign and animated film. The facility is modeled after agricultural buildings from the Sisters area and the High Desert and features comfortable stadium seating. Described as a “labor of love” by founder and developer Lisa Clausen, Sisters Movie House is committed to involving the community by collaborating with community groups.

Sisters Movie House has harnessed the imaginative horsepower of Sisters residents, Juan Duarte for building design, Dennis McGregor for logo and image design and Curt Kallberg for general construction and is committed to using talent and expertise from Central Oregon.

As of August 2016, Sisters Movie House is now under new owners quoin media & entertainment, led by Managing Partner Andrew (Drew) Kaza. But the commitment to a diverse, quality movie offering, along with the same great food and beverage selection, is unchanged.
